Startestsmk Booking Policies & Terms

Introduction

Welcome to Startestsmk! By using our services, you agree to the following Booking Policies and Terms. Startestsmk is an independent service that helps customers find and book early driving test cancellations with the DVSA. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA or any government body.

Please read these terms carefully. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services or website.


Payment Policy

  • This is a payment-first service. We do not book any driving tests without receiving full payment upfront.
  • You don’t need to pay anything until we offer you a slot you want. Once you confirm a slot, payment must be made before we process the booking.
  • Tests are booked on a first-come, first-served basis. If payment is delayed, the test may no longer be available.
  • After receiving payment, we will book the test for you. Confirmation can take up to 72 hours.
  • If the test you selected becomes unavailable after payment, you will be offered an alternative test or a full refund.

No Refunds & Payment Conditions

  • No refunds will be given unless your selected test becomes unavailable before booking.
  • This includes situations where:
    • You change your mind.
    • You book elsewhere.
    • You can no longer attend for personal reasons.
  • Your payment is valid only for you and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
  • If you request another test after a booking is made, a new full payment will be required.

Payment Reference Instructions

  • You must use the correct payment reference when making payment.
  • We receive many payments at the same time. If your reference is wrong or missing, we won’t know who it belongs to. This could result in you not getting your test or your test being given to someone else.
  • When we send our bank details, we also provide clear instructions on what the reference should be. You must follow these instructions exactly.
  • The payment reference format must be:
    Test Centre and Test Date
    Example: Bletchley 21/05/2025
  • Please do not skip this step as it prevents delays and mistakes.

Interference with the Booking Process

You will lose your full payment if you interfere with the booking process in any way, such as:

  • Logging into the test booking website repeatedly.
  • Changing or cancelling test bookings yourself.
  • Attempting to modify the test date or time without informing us.

If this happens and you require another test, a new full payment will be required.


Test Management & Responsibility

  • Once we have booked your test, you are responsible for managing it.
  • If anyone other than Startestsmk or the DVSA changes or cancels your test, you will need to pay the full amount again for a new booking.
  • We are not responsible for any resellers or instructors taking your test if you’ve given your details to them. Once we send you confirmation, anything that happens after that is not our responsibility.
  • You must ensure you meet all DVSA requirements, including:
    • Holding a valid provisional licence.
    • Bringing a legally insured and roadworthy vehicle.
    • Arriving on time with all required documents.

Test Cancellations & Reschedules

  • If the DVSA cancels your test due to examiner shortages, weather, or other reasons, we are not responsible, but we can assist in finding a new date.
  • If you need to reschedule your test, you must notify us immediately. A new full payment may be required for a replacement test.

  • If you are unsure about our service, you are welcome to check our reviews on Instagram or message previous customers for their honest feedback.
  • By booking with us, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

Fraud & Misuse

  • Any attempt at fraud, including chargebacks after a successful booking, will result in a permanent ban from our services.
  • If suspicious activity is detected, we reserve the right to refuse service.
  • Misuse of our service, including false claims or deliberate interference with bookings, may result in legal action.
